The Ruger American Rifle® is a light, easy-to-handle and accurate rifle with an innovative design, made using modern materials, intended for use in difficult weather conditions. The compact threaded barrel is cold forged, resulting in exceptional accuracy and long life. The ergonomic and light plastic stock with a soft butt combines a classic design with a modern shaped forend and knurling at the grip points. The weapon has a manual safety and a trigger safety. The closure tilts to a 70° angle and has 3 teeth. The trigger pull is adjustable from 1.36 - 2.27 kg (3 - 5 lbs). The package also includes a Ruger® hybrid muzzle brake.
